Touch for Health™ Balancing
Touch for Health™ (TFH) is a technique that uses proven techniques and principles from eastern and western medicine and the science of muscle movement or applied kinesiology to assess energetic Meridian imbalances and to restore balance to body via the Meridian network.
Applied kinesiology (AK) is a form of assessment using muscle testing as a primary feedback mechanism to determine energetic imbalances in the body. When applied in TFH the outcome of an AK assessment will determine the best form of balancing to use.
Balancing includes balancing of meridians, neurolymphatic and neuro-vascular reflexes.
Meridians form a system of 14 primary energy channels that Chi, the life force or vital energy flows through. Each has a separate beginning and end point and all are connected to form one continuous flow. Traditional Chinese Medicine views the meridians as the network connecting the interior with the exterior: the internal organs with the surface of the body.
Neurolymphatic reflexes are points located mainly on the torso. TFH techniques for gentle stimulation to these reflexes helps to increase energy to the lymphatic system and acts like a circuit breaker when the system becomes overloaded as a result of stress.
Neurovascular reflexes are located mainly on the head. TFH techniques for gentle stimulation to these reflexes help to improve blood supply to the related organs, muscles and glands.
